The 2024 election cycle is heating up.  And Orange County GOP Chairman, Fred Whitaker, says his party is ready for more wins.

Fred says OC shares the overall pain felt in California.  But not as much as neighboring counties like Los Angeles.  Because, unlike Los Angeles County, in OC they’ve elected a sheriff and district attorney who prosecute crimes.  And that the overwhelming victories at the ballot box against OC’s would-be version of George Gascon (LA’s radical leftist DA) were helped by their party’s messaging, “no LA in OC.”

Recent Orange County GOP polling indicates the top issues are:

  1. Crime
  2. Homelessness
  3. Cost of living
  4. Education

Interview With Orange County GOP Chairman – Fred Whitaker

Highlighting the need to “thread the needle” between President Trump and some traditional GOP voters.  The OC GOP Chairman says the fastest-growing party in the state of California is No Party Preference.  (A bit of sarcasm as NPP is simply an optional voter registration designation and not an actual political party.)

But that they’re targeting NPPs to register (or re-register) as Republicans, then ensure they get their vote in.  So it’s the low-propensity voter the OC GOP sees as a key to victories in 2024.

So here’s what you can do.  Talk to your friends, family, and acquaintances.  Everyone you feel comfortable covering the topic with.  And be sure they know they need to ‘secure their vote.’  Which happens to be the OC GOP’s messaging for the 2024 election cycle.
